Biltmore Multi-family is a 12-acre tract located in Pflugerville, Texas where Land Strategies was asked to develop concept and final design layouts for the pedestrian circulation, pool design and deck area, and the planting plan for the entire project.
LSI was able to utilize the building layout to incorporate open spaces for a dog park, open play areas, and a pool deck area that utilizes a native Texas plant palette to create a sustainable, low-maintenance design, while providing a vibrant mix of species that also produces year-round interest. The pool was designed to create areas for users of different age groups to be able to gather while not impacting others around them. A beach entry area with associated water jets and bubblers provide a space for children to safely play while parents relaxing on the sun shelf can comfortably look on. The long, linear portion of the pool makes for a perfect space to swim laps and exercise.
