Paul Linehan
Principal / Founder
Paul founded Land Strategies, Inc. in 1983. Over his 36 years in land-use design, community planning, and landscape architecture, Paul has accumulated a vast and varied portfolio of more than 1,800 development projects. He has worked in every aspect of land use planning and design from advocating for his clients at city council to project leadership of interdisciplinary design teams. An active member in the public realm, Paul’s civic leadership accomplishments include serving on the RECA executive board, giving expert witness testimony on urban issues, and lecturing on site plan design at the University of Texas. In 2009, he won RECA’s Gary S Farmer Commendation for Excellence. Paul has a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design.
Michael Linehan
Managing Partner / Architect
Michael’s joining forces with his dad in 2018 immediately opened up new horizons for Land Strategies, Inc. His experience as a licensed architect, coupled with his Master’s in Landscape Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin, offer LSI’s clients a seamless and comprehensive approach to the planning, design, and ultimate realization of their development projects. Building on Paul’s deep knowledge and widely respected expertise, Michael is extending LSI’s scope of services and growing its stable of designers to achieve his vision for the firm’s future. By combining new ideas with a seasoned approach to the client’s needs, Michael plans on a smooth transition to ensure many more years of success at LSI.
THomas Boes
Directing Architect , RA | LEED AP
A highly talented multi-disciplinary Architect with over 28 years of experience in the design and building profession, Thomas contributes the knowledge and expertise necessary to respond to our Clients’ high expectations for creativity and quality. With a BA in Archaeology and a Master’s in Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin, Thomas views ‘place’ through the lens of culture. This perspective manifests a strong regionalist vision and approach to design that is built on localized reverence for history, tradition, community and the natural environment that nurtures it. At the same time, his tenure with renowned design firms in Chicago, Seattle, Portland and Austin cultivates a sophisticated understanding of modern urban design and planning principles that is necessary to address the transformational needs of the 21st century city.
Danuta REICH
Director of Landscape Architecture, PLA
Danuta highly values the need for thoughtful integration between environmental and social systems to generate site specific responses that create meaningful, lasting communities for people. Her Master’s in Landscape Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin expands on her background in Architecture and Interior Design. Danuta hails from Dubai, and brings with her a wealth of international, professional design experience on numerous projects in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Germany. Since joining LSI in 2015, Danuta focuses on site planning, landscape architecture, and presentation graphics.
jasper siltala
Interim Director of Planning
Jasper is a persistent, thoughtful planner and designer with discerning attention to detail who identifies creative solutions to challenges to help clients achieve their objectives and honor the unique conditions and context of each site. With nearly a decade of planning, land development, and landscape design experience in Central Texas in the private, public, and non-profit sectors, Jasper leads a team of planners and designers specializing in due diligence, feasibility, and yield analysis, conceptual site, subdivision, and land use plans, master plans, design guidelines, entitlements, development consulting, and project management for a wide variety of project types including commercial, office, industrial, ranch, and residential. He has a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from Texas State University and is a member of the Native Plant Society of Texas, Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center, StrongTowns, and the American Planning Association.
Oksana Dziuba
Project Designer
Oksana graduated with a Master's degree in Architecture from the National University of Construction and Architecture of Kyiv, Ukraine with the focus on town planning and landscape design. When she moved to the United States, she brought over 4 years of experience working with European practices, stylistic choices and design solutions in landscape design for both private residential areas and open public spaces. She utilizes her experience in local landscape design to create spaces that incorporate native Texas plants and materials. As a fast-learning and dedicated professional, she seeks to build upon her European experience of leading projects all the way from concept sketches to implementation and construction oversight, along with becoming a licensed Landscape Architect in Texas.

Project Designer
Laura graduated with a Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2021 where she focused her studies on Historic Preservation and Ecological Design. With that, she is interested in how we integrate efficient designs into the existing character of historic buildings. Prior to graduate school, she received her BS in Architecture from Ohio State University. Laura concentrates on how architecture can shape a community and looks to emphasize the relationship between the built environment and the people that use it
Hemashree dunakhe
Planner
Hemashree joined the LSI team in 2022, bringing her international experience as an Architect and land planning experience from the state of Florida. Hemashree's curiosity and passion for learning how the land is utilized to meet the community needs and its impact on the style and design of the buildings inspired her to pursue a master's in planning. Hema graduated with a master's in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of South Florida, Tampa, and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Mumbai, India. Joining the LSI team, she uses her knowledge and experience to create physically and socio-economically functional and sustainable development.
KELLY CLINE
Senior Urban Planner
Kelly is a licensed Professional Landscape Architect, focusing on specialization studies in Land Planning, Landscape Architecture, and Urban Design. This focus compliments her work at LSI as an urban planner and superior graphic designer. She received her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Texas Tech University and studied a semester in the College of Architecture at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Additionally, Kelly has extensive knowledge and understanding of the inventory and analysis of natural features, with particular attention to the organization of communities as they relate to amenities, geographic features, the environment and other physical and social influences. Her attention to detail and strong work ethic make her a valued member of the LSI Landscape Architecture and Planning team.
Kristen Mullane
Junior Planner
Kristen graduated from Texas State University in 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a minor in Public Administration. She has over two years of experience working with the City of Austin and plans to use that experience to assist her in the private sector. Kristen values sustainable design that creates distinct places and improves quality of life. She seeks to use her experience and knowledge to assist clients in achieving their planning goals and creating places that are unique and beautiful while preserving the culture of the area.
Erica Millard
Business Manager
Erica has been with LSI for 17 years with a wide spectrum of knowledge of all things LSI. The past 14 years she has served as LSI’s Business Manager encompassing financial, business administration, human resources and office organizational duties. A native Texan, Erica grew up as an Air Force brat and moved to Austin in 1980.
Tracy Brown
Receptionist
For many of our clients, the first impression they have of LSI is Tracy’s friendly voice when she answers the phone. For others, it’s her smile when they walk through our front door. She’s a natural at her job because she genuinely enjoys meeting new people. Tracy assists her teammates with an assortment of tasks throughout every workday. She’s a family-oriented Austin native who loves being outdoors and surrounded by nature.
David Guerrero
IT Manager
David keeps his LSI teammates connected, productive, and equipped to efficiently accomplish their daily tasks. David currently manages the IT network, troubleshoots computer glitches, and keeps the software licenses up to date. In particular, he is LSI’s resource for all things AutoCAD, the state-of-the-art suite of design and engineering apps.
Ibrahim kasem
Project Designer
Ibrahim values the maximized integration between the building and human circulative and accessible experiences within or outside spaces through efficiency, design, and delivery for the purpose of creating outstanding places that are satisfactory of the client’s input and needs. Before joining LSI he worked in Seattle, allowing him to expand his experience within different projects and project phases development creating a comprehensive understanding of the different implementation needed to process towards a quality results. Ibrahim graduated with a professional Bachelor of Architecture from Philadelphia University in Jordan in 2017 and is currently in pursuance of licensure.
